Partnerships are critical for leveraging limited resources to manage stormwater. This gallery highlights some of the projects that have resulted from successful partnerships between WNC governments, businesses, and non-profits.
WNC Stormwater Summit

The Summit brought together a broad group of stormwater and water resource professionals from throughout the region. The Summit addressed multiple aspects of stormwater management including: the WNC-specific planning context today and in the future; key stormwater issues and challenges; innovative solutions and their implementation successes and struggles; and lessons-learned from partnerships and collaboration. Speakers provided experience-based information on local and regional stormwater regulations, policies, plans, stormwater control measure implementations and monitoring. Participants also toured the UNC-Asheville low impact development and green stormwater infrastructure facilities.
